Condurango is the dried root of the plant *Rumex cundurango*. It is mainly used as a natural diuretic to help relieve fluid retention and to support urinary tract health, and it is also taken for its mild anti‑inflammatory effect on joint discomfort. Because the root can produce diarrhea and may amplify the effects of prescription diuretics, it should be avoided during pregnancy and used with caution in people on other diuretic medications or with sensitive stomachs.
